Nantucket Bike Baskets: classical style, modern convenience |
I love biking, something about it makes me feel so alive. Before my daughter was born, the hubby and I would head out on our bikes daily. We lived in Evanston, a town just north of Chicago right on Lake Michigan. Our condo had a bike path literally outside our back door and we’d ride along the water and sometimes into town for dinner, the farmer’s market or even to the concerts on the campus. Finally now that the kiddo is a little older, we’ve dusted off the bikes and are exploring our new town on our bikes. Problem is, that as a mom, you have to carry A LOT of items with you and that’s just no possible unless you use a cumbersome backpack. I was browsing through a fitness mag and came across Nantucket Bike Basket Co. and I was smitten.

Summer is officially here! And with that in mind, I've been trying to come up with some alternative registry items to spice up your list. I can't think of anything more romantic than spending the hot summer day in newlywed bliss, riding bicycles and having a picnic in the park. I found some of the cutest bicycle baskets for just that, plus ones to take to the market and there's even one to tote Fido around in. Now, all you need is a bell and some streamers! Happy riding!
